Do you ship internationally?
Right now, Instead of Ashes ships retail orders to the United States, Canada, and the UK. We ship from Atlanta, Georgia, and do our best to keep international shipping prices low. All orders come with tracking numbers.
When will I receive my order?
Most items ship within 1-3 business days + shipping time. Orders are shipped either via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail, depending on which option you choose at checkout. All shipping options come with tracking information.

My tracking says my order has been delivered, but I don't see it - help!
First off - don't worry! I have found that it is pretty common for USPS to mark an order as "delivered" 24 hours before it is actually delivered. While I don't know why this happens, it seems that in every time this has happened for a customer, it is delivered the next day. If you don't see it in your mailbox within 24 hours, send me a convo through the Etsy shop, or send an email with your name and order number to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get it sorted out for you!
My order was damaged in shipping - help!
Ugh. That stinks! I ship items as protectively as possible, but once in a blue moon crazy things can happen in the shipping process that I cannot control. Please send an a convo through the Etsy shop, or an email to email@example.com within 48 hours of receiving your package, and I will send a replacement to you.
What is your return policy?
If for some reason you are not happy with your order, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can take care of any issues. Please note that used, opened and/or final sale items cannot be returned, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Can you make a custom design for me?
At this time, Instead of Ashes is not creating custom work.
Can you change a color or a few of the words in one of the designs in the shop for me?
At this time, Instead of Ashes is not making any changes to current designs in the shop. All designs are offered as-shown in product listings. If you have a certain design idea in mind, a holiday you would love to see cards for, or a verse or quote you would love to see offered in the shop, feel free to send an email to email@example.com - it is always nice to hear what designs you would be interested in seeing available in the future!
Can I get a design in the shop as a digital download?
At this time, Instead of Ashes is not offering any digital downloads.
I'd like to place an order for a larger quantity than I see on your item listing... is that possible?
Yes! We can accommodate large quantities for retail orders! Just send us an email and let us know how many you would be needing! We may need an extra couple days to get more printed from our printer, which could add an additional 2-4 days to processing time. (Looking to place a large wholesale order? See our wholesale page!)
